However, many unexpected problems will occur during interpretation. In professional lectures, term interpreting is always one of the tough problems for interpreters. A proper use of fuzzy strategies during interpreting will efficiently solve this problem. The thesis, based on the interpreting experience for the lecture on western-style parenting by FIRMUS, analyzed cases about some terminology problems the interpreter encountered during interpreting and how to apply fuzzy strategies to solve these problems. The thesis aimed at exploring proper uses of fuzzy strategies in interpreting terminologies and summarized some fuzzy strategies that can help to solve similar problems in interpreting.The research method of the thesis is combining theory with practice to explore how to solve terminology problems in practical interpreting occasions. Besides, how to apply fuzzy strategies to solve terminology problems was studied to offer reference to interpreters to tackle problems and smoothly finish interpreting tasks.Key Words: terminology interpreting, fuzzy strategy, interpreting
