摘要:在号召全民终身教育的时代背景下,学习型社会与学习型社区的建设取得长足进展。社区教育是实现终身教育理念的重要形式,也是建立学习型社 会的基础。而社区教育课程作为终身教育在社区生活中的中介和载体,作为社区 教育实践活动开展的途径和手段之一,作为社区教育目的与作用实现的最关键因 素,作为社区教育质量评价的主要依据和标准,是社区学习者汲取知识的重要来 源。社区教育服务的对象是社区居民,因此社区教育课程的设计与开发等环节都 应遵从以人为本的原则,从居民的需求出发去考虑社区教育课程的目标、内容、 形式等具体的环节。英语课程作为社区教育众多课程中的一种,其课程的开发与 设计,除了考虑需求因素,还需将语言课程的相关模型理论、社区教育理论、成 人学习理论等结合在一起。基于以上思考,本研究采用文献阅读、问卷调查、访 谈法、个案分析等研究方法,针对闵行区诸翟镇华漕社区英语课程的实践进行研 究,通过对社区居民需求以及教师意见的调研,根据语言课程设计的模型原理, 试图提出改进、完善社区英语课程开展的意见及策略。关键词:社区教育;课程开发;课程设计;英语课程;需求分析IIAbstract: In the context of countrywide life-long education, learning society and communities have made much progress. Community education serves as an important form to realize the goal of life-long education as well as the foundation for creating learning society. The curriculum of community education is the medium of life-long education and one of the means for community education practice. The criterion for appraising the quality of community education partly comes out of the curriculum. The community is supposed to serve for its inhabitants. The inhabitants are at the center of community education. So when designing and developing the curriculum of communities, community education practioners should take inhabitants’ needs into consideration. When it comes to the study of English curriculum of community education, in addition to needs analysis, androgogy theories and community education theories, the models and theories in language curriculum design and development are also indispensible.Based on the ideas above, the author went into the Huacao Community of Zhudi Town in Minhang Distirct Shanghai to study how the English courses are carried out there. Starting from the needs of the inhabitants of Huacao Community, the author wants to know whether current community English course meets the inhabitants’ needs or not. Then the author expects to pinpoint the problems and put forward some suggestions and strategies to improve the course based on relevant theories.Key Words: community education
