CiphertextRetrievalSystemforCloudStorageBasedonHomomorphicEncryptionoverIntegersAbstractCloudComputinghasbecomeahottopicinthefieldofinformationtechnologytoday.Theconvenience,economy,highscalabilityandmanyotheradvantagesofcloudcomputingmakeitwideattentionandhighlyvaluedinindustry,academia,governmentandothersectors.Whenthecoretaskofthecloudcomputingaredatastorageandmanagement,cloudcomputingbecomesaCloudStoragesystemprovidingthefunctionsofdatastorageandserviceaccess.Inordertoensurethesecurity,thedatainthecloudisstoredasciphertext.Usuallyciphertextretrievalsystemuseskeywordmatchingtechnologyfordatavalueretrieval,however,whentheinputkeywordisarangeofvalues,keywordmatchingtechnologycannotbeeffective.Inthispaper,aretrievalsystembasedonhomomorphicencryptionisproposed.Theretrievaloftherangeoftheciphertextvaluescanbeachievedusinghomomorphicencryptionscheme.Homomorphicencryptionalgorithmstoday,however,isverycomplicated,inefficient,andhasn’tgotanypracticalapplication.Onthebasisoftheanalysisandcomparisonofexistinghomomorphicencryptionalgorithms,thispaperselectsoneofthemappliedtothesystem,andusingthehomomorphicencryptionalgorithmdesignsaretrievalalgorithm,effectivelycompletestheretrievaloftherangeoftheciphertextvalues.ThispaperselectsXMLtobuildastructuredindexfile,andtheattributevalueoftheelementistheciphertextofthewordindexedfromthesourcefile.Onlytheattributevalueoftheelementintheindexfileistoberetrieved.ThestructuredpropertyofXMLiseasyfortheretrievaltobeimplemented.Itnotonlyensuresthesecurityofthesourcefile,butalsocangetthedatauserwantsquicklyandefficiently.Fortheconditionthatthehomomorphicencryptionalgorithminthispaperissymmetricencryptionalgorithm,theRSAencryptionalgorithmisusedtocreateasessionkey.Usingthesecondarykeymanagementstrategyensuresthesecurityoftheretrievalprocess.Tofurtherensurethesecurityofthesystem,MD5authenticationtechnologycombinedwithSaltvalueisusedtoensurethattheuserloggedintheretrievalsystemislegal.Eventuallythepaperimplementstheciphertextretrievalsystembase
