This is a pressure cooker which enables removal of meat and separation of bones Drier: For Meat Meal Products Drying systems for decentralized production of byproducts from fallen carcass have been designed and developed. CMERI provided the design support. Meat Meals From Rural Fallen Carcass Recovery Units Meat meal recovered from fallen carcass can be effectively recovered and poultry feed products obtained. Poultry feed is a valuable byproduct from dead animals Propagation of Technologies for Fallen Carcass Recovery The government has recognized the need for technology propagation. Commissioning of about 1000 fallen carcass recovery centers in India is now under consideration. It is estimated that about 3-4 million hides can be additionally recovered. This is likely to increase rural employment by an estimated 65000 people in primary raw material sector, about 800 tanners and 6400 product manufactures.
