The Many Costs of Campus Carry;
; I. Background Information;?Senate Bill 11 ;A Different World is an American situation comedy that aired for six seasons on NBC from September 24, 1987 to July 9, 1993. The series originally centered on Denise Huxtable (Lisa Bonet) and the life of students at Hillman College, a fictional historically Black college in Virginia.
After Bonets departure in the first season, the remainder of the series primarily focused more on Southern belle Whitley Gilbert (Jasmine Guy) and math whiz Dwayne Wayne (Kadeem Hardison).

the set of ideals (democracy, rights, liberty, opportunity and equality) in
which freedom includes the opportunity for prosperity and success, as
well as an upward social mobility for the family and children, achieved
through hard work in a society with few barriers
