Shangsi Festival as an important ancient festival has had a profound impact on the peoples material and spiritual life. The Shangsi festival also had a profound influence on the development of poetry creation. During the development of Shangsi festival ,it has embodied great humanistic connotations and has had far-reaching impact on poems, while poetry creation also affect the development of Shangsi Festivals social and cultural significance. This paper explains the relationship of festival folk and Shangsi Poetry Writing through the explanation of the important period of shangsi poetry creation. And through the analyzing of the spiritual world of poets, we can understand the rise and fall of the festival folk, so that we could look for a way to protect our traditional culture. If could protect our traditional festivals, we would have made our cultural genes pass down for generations. This chapter mainly introduce shangsi festival’s new characteristic through analysis of the spiritual world of the poets and the social outlook of that period.
