社会学文本翻译研究——以《城市中国的逻辑》英译为例摘要摘要本文选材翻译的出发点是向国外的读者还原中国农民工在现阶段所处的境地，向他们呈现出一个真实中国的侧影，而不是像一些国外中国问题的研究者那样以偏概全、避重就轻地谈论中国城市化问题。因而本文坚持以“异化为主”，注重译文的效果及读者的理解，同时兼顾“归化为辅”。“真实性”是译文力求实现的目标，希望能借此打开中国问题研究方面客观性、公正性的大门。本篇论文分为四个部分。第一部分是任务描述及理论依据，即是介绍下节选材料《农民工制度安排与身份认同》的主要内容并对理论依据作简单介绍。在城市化背景下，文章讲述了“农民工”在城市中的权益问题及其可能的解决办法；而本文坚持“异化为主、归化为辅”的翻译策略，在考虑读者接受基础上，力求还原出文本展现的中国社会现状。第二部分是任务实施，包括任务实施过程及需要解决的难点，包括社会学术语翻译、句法处理、篇章处理以及文中涉及的相关法律条例处理。第三部分是案例分析，即是针对文本翻译中遇到的问题详细说明其解决办法，并引用文中实例加以说明。笔者采用了音译、直接挪用和参照平行文本的方法处理术语问题；用顺译法及逻辑重构法处理句法问题；从英汉语言的特征方面分析篇章问题；最后笔者根据法律语言处理规范性和严谨性的要求解决文本中的法律条例问题。论文第四部分是结语，主要讲述对该翻译项目的认识及收获。关键词：社会学文本，城市化，农民工，翻译策略英文摘要社会学文本翻译研究——以《城市中国的逻辑》英译为例ABSTRACTAsacross-culturalcommunicationactivity,translationservestoachievetheeffectofpublicityinforeigncountries.Inthissense,thestartingpointofthistranslationprojectistopresentforeignreaderswithatrueimageofmodernChina--therealsituationofmigrantworkersincitiesinawaydifferentfromthatadoptedbysomeforeignresearcherswhotakeabiasedpointofviewaboutstudyproblemsconcerningChina’surbanization,takingapartforthewholeandavoidingtheimportantanddwellingonthetrivial.Therefore,intermsofthetranslationstrategiesofthisproject,foreignationmethodpredominatesoverdomesticationmethod,i.e.payingattentiontotheeffectoftranslatedversionandreaders’understanding.“Truth”iswhattheEnglishversionstrivestoachieveinthehopeofopeningthedoorofobjectivenessandfairnessforresearchersonChineseproblems.Thethesiscanbedividedintofourparts.Thefirstpartisthetaskdescriptionandtheoreticalbasis,thatis,abriefintroductionofthemaincontentofthetranslationmaterialMigrantWorkers:SystemArrangementandIdentity.Againstthebackdropofurbanization,thetextdescribestherightsandinterestsofmigrantworkersandthepossiblesolutions.Thesecondpartisthetaskimplementation--theprocessoftranslationanddifficultiestobesolvedintheaspectsofsociologicalterms,syntax,discourseandrelevantlegalregulations.Thethirdpartistheanalysisofcases--problemsencounteredduringtranslationandtheirsolutions.Sociologicaltermscanbedealtwithinwayssuch
