AStudytotheGerminationsandPhysiologicalIndexesofFourSpecies’seedsfromPinusSect.CembraAbstractFourspecies’seeds,Pinusdabeshanensis,Pinus.armandi,Pinus.kwangtungensisandPinus.paruiflora,andtheybelongedtoPinusSect.Cembra,Pinaceae.Germinationsandphysiologicalindexesofthemhadbeenresearchedinthisstudy,whichdealtwithgerminationcharacteristicsofseed,physiologicalindexofseedling,effectofthreeenvironmentfactors(temperature,lightandwater)andsaline-alkalistressonseedgennination.ThepurposesofourstudyistofindouttherulesandtheoptimumenvironmentofPinusSect.Cembra’sseedgermination,sothatwecouldtakemoreuseandprotectionofthem.Theresultswereasfollows:FourkindsofPinusSect.Cembra’sseedswereinbigsize.Theaverage100seedsweightsofP.dabeshanensis,P.armandi,P.kwangtungensisandP.paruiflorawere43.84,28.21,3.62gand3.47g,respectively.Andtheirsizeswereinsignificantdifference.ThewaterabsorptionabilityoffourPinusSect.Cembra’sseedsaresimilar.Itcouldbedividedintothreestages:thefirststageofgoinguprapidly,thesecondstageofdecliningandarrivingatbalance,andthethirdstageofseedssaturation.TheseedsP.kwangtungensisandP.paruifloragotsaturatedeasierthanthatofP.dabeshanensisandP.armandi.Thepropertyoftheirseedsshowedasignificantdifferenceamongthem.ThegerminationrateoffourPinusSect.Cembra’sseedswereP.kwangtungensis(73.88%),P.paruiflora(71.96%),P.armandi(65.47%),P.dabeshanensis(58.99%),respectively.Ingerminationprogress,CAT,PODandSODactivitywerepositivelycorrelatedwithgerminationrate.BycontrastMDAcontentshowednagetivelyrelationshipwithit.Temperatehasgreateffectsontheirgermination.P.armandi,P.kwangtungensisandP.paruifloracangerminateinawidetemperaturerange(from15to30℃)andthegerminationrateincreasediftemperaturewentup.P.dabeshanensiscouldnotgerminateat30℃,itsgerminationrateswas55.67％at20℃,42.67％at15℃and13.67％at25℃.Underthreedifferentkindsoflightconditions,theseedsgerminationratevaries(P0.01),whichmeanslightaffectsseedgerminationrate.Fourspeciesofseedsgerminationratewasslightlylowerin0hlightconditionsthanthatof12hand24h
