Module 1 How to learn English Unit 1 Try not to translate every word. 教材 《英语》(新标准) 册数 初二年级上册 课时 一课时 教学设计 教学内容 Unit1 Try not to translate every word. 课型 Listening and speaking 教材分析 This unit is the first part of Module 1 and it is focused on practicing the students listening and speaking abilities by reading the conversation. The vocabulary as well as the sentence structures is sufficient examples and drillings are necessary. Also the students should be able to give advice about studying. 教学方法 Bottom-up approach and task-based approach 教学目标 1知识目标:To learn some key vocabulary, understand conversations involving advice on learning English and get information about how to learn English from the conversation; To understand the way of giving advice and practice giving advice on English learning 2 能力目标:To be able to talk about the problems in learning English and understand the conversation in Activity 3 3 情感目标:To understand how to talk with others by learning the way of giving advice 教学重点和难点 To learn the vocabulary, especially the key points: translate, translation, correct, grammar, pronunciation, spelling and try to do and the sentence structures: Why dont you do …? How about do …? You should do … Its a good idea to … Try (not) to do … 教学手段 Practice the students listening and speaking abilities by reading the conversation. 设计思路 1. Encourage the students to talk with each other to practice the sentence structures elicited by the listening materials. 2.
