万方数据 万方数据 RESEARCH on TN GROUPS DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY ABSTRACT Energy saving and emission reduction, which is highly required by the trend of climate change, is the measurement to guarantee the sustainable development of mankind and also a responsibility clearly committed by our government. To fulfill that goal, natural gas is definitely the most realistic energy resource to be chosen. The speedy development and efficient utilization for that resource is the only way out for energy security of industrialization and urbanization. The competition in gas and the related market grows increasingly fierce due to the development and change of China’s macro economy and market environment. Therefore, in the process of marketization, gas enterprises must play their own advantages fully, allocate the existing resources efficiently, and catch the external market opportunity to develop and grow stronger through competitions, or it is inevitable to be eliminated. By using strategic analysis tools such as PEST and SWOT, this paper aims to search out the present challenges and opportunities as also as the development trends of gas market exampled by the study of development status, strengths and weaknesses of TN group with the description of strategic management and development strategy theory. Outlined by the following eight points, the perspective of core values, development tempo, resource allocation, organizational structure, business strategy, construction of excellent corporate culture, information construction and human resource development, this paper points out future goals, strategic priorities and strategic initiatives in the next 5 to 8 years, proposes basic measures for realization of development strategy which will effectively improve the core competitiveness of enterprises. It also suggests a sustainable path which accurately positions TN’s double attributes of utility and social enterprise, combines public and business goals, makes the best of its strength of natural
