Study on Optimal Design of Performance Management System of TN Company Abstract Performance management is the core part and an important tool of human resource management in modern enterprises. Many enterprises are actively exploring how to build an effective performance management system to create and keep high performance and competitive advantage. Generally speaking, domestic enterprises, especially state-owned enterprises exist some problems in performance management resulted in poor effect. Therefore, it is very important to establish a new advanced performance management system based on accurate understanding of performance management system and actual conditions of enterprise to promote the development of enterprise. TN Company which engaged in city gas pipeline transportation and supply provide natural gas supply services for residents and commercial and industrial enterprises. From the 80s to today, TN Company is facing the new environment and the new tasks. In order to improve performance and competitiveness, the company leadership pays more attention in performance management. This paper which starts from theories study makes an exhaustive research in the theory and application of performance management based on reading a large number of professional and authoritative literatures at home and abroad. The author applies knowledge of management, human resource management, statistics and other subjects, analyzes the concrete practice of performance management of TN Company and the reasons of the existing problems; formulate the optimization design of performance management system, and implements supporting measures to ensure the effective operation.
