The text is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is introduction. It introduces theBuddhist Records of the Western World and its author, significance, research status, research methods and research materials. The second chapter describe the definition of the word. The adjectives is divided several criteria and were summarized, and the adjectives in Buddhist Records of the Western World are specifically defined. The third chapter.is the Buddhist Records of the Western World adjectives situation. In respect of specific linguistic facts, under the guidance of the modern Chinese grammar theory, to find the adjectives in Buddhist Records of the Western World , then analyses the structure classification and quantitative ,polysyllabic words dominant, polysyllabic words to words, compound words in combined type number of adjectives in Buddhist Records of the Western World .
