万方数据 万方数据 摘 要 近代时期，西方“男女平等”思想的传入对中国社会产生了重大的影响。该思想在 传入的过程中，与中国的传统思想产生了融合与冲突，融合的标示之一就是中国近代女 子教育的兴起。同时，在与传统思想不断冲突的过程中，女子教育的教育目的也经历了 几多变迁，从最初的“贤妻良母”的教育目的，到后来的完整“人”的教育。女性无疑 是近代女子教育的最大受益者，教育使得她们的思想得以启迪、学识得以增长、能力得 以提高，最终导致了大批有别于传统女性的“新”女性的登场，开启了女性近代角色建 构的过程。觉醒了的“新”女性开始批判性地审视女性的传统角色，使占主导地位的贤 妻良母论不断遭到质疑和批判，甚至被突破乃至超越。近代女子教育为女性角色的建构 铺设了平台，而接受了教育的女性又成为推动女性角色蜕变的有生力量，经历了一个由 被动到主动，由男性的最初提倡到自身最终觉醒的过程。不管是以吴贻芳为代表的事业 型女性，还是以陈衡哲为代表的家庭、事业兼顾型女性，她们均超越了对传统女性角色 的定位，以一个完整“人”的身份去自主地选择所要承担的女性角色，为她们后来的女 性树立了榜样。 本论文主要通过整体研究与个案研究相结合的方法，以点带面，客观、系统地勾画 出近代时期女子教育与女性角色蜕变的全貌。先从整体的角度入手，循序渐进地把握中 国近代女子教育的兴起与演变发展，再从微观（以典型女性为代表）的视角对接受过近 代女子教育熏陶的女性角色认知与蜕变的过程进行梳理，最后从宏观的角度总结出近代 女子教育影响下的女性角色蜕变对当代女性的启示，从而比较客观、系统地勾画出在中 国女子教育影响下的近代女性角色蜕变及其影响。 关键词：男女平等；近代女子教育；女性角色；陈衡哲；吴贻芳 I Abstract In modern times, the introduction of western thought of gender equality has a significant influence on Chinese society. In the incoming process of thought，have produced fusion and collision with Chinas traditional thought. One of the symbols of fusion is the rise of women’s education. At the same time, in the process of collisions with traditional ideas constantly, women’s education purpose of the education has much change; the change is from the initial wife education purpose to the integrity of the human education.
