II II Abstract With the rapid development of China’s economy, we have trade surplus against Europe Union over the years, trade friction is increasingly intensified. With the acceleration of the EU integration, the benefit of political and economic is more consistent; the anti-dumping is taken as a protective means to be used against China, so as to make Chinese products uncompetitive with the same kind of goods from EU and are forced to quit EU markets. The EU is now using the means of anti-dumping frequently against Chinese exports to them. The EU is an area which uses anti-dumping measures mostly against China. From the year of 1979, the EU used anti-dumping investigation against saccharine for the first time; the EU placed the top one of anti-dumping cases against China, accounting for 20.7% of the total. Among all the products affected by the anti-dumping from the EU, ranging from chemicals、textiles to electronics etc, amounting to several billions U.S dollars. The features of anti-dumping by the EU are not only big quantities but also referring to the huge amount of money. In an area of anti-dumping, the EU is a region which stress should be laid on. Dealing well with the anti-dumping issue from the EU will bring forth the far-reaching influence not only on the all-around progress in the relationship between China and the EU, but also on the progress in exploiting the foreign trade and the Chinese Government’s countermeasures against anti-dumping issues from other countries. Focus on the aspects of both the theory and the practice, this dissertation makes a comparatively systematic research on the Chinese Government’s countermeasures when in the face of the anti-dumping from foreign countries especially the anti-dumping from the EU. First of all, the dissertation gives a reference to some basic knowledge. The knowledge includes some fundamental conception such as dumping and anti-dumping. In the next place, the dissertation works over th
