Then the Ministry of Education officially issued Curriculum Standard of Biology in Senior High School (Experimental) in 2003, allowing and encouraging the various experimental areas to write and choose different styles of textbooks according to the actual situation and needs in the region. Therefore, according to the new standard, biology textbooks in senior high school presented 5 different versions published by Sino Maps Press, People’s Education Press, Zhejiang Science and Technology Press, Jiangsu Education Press, and Hebei JuvenileChildren’s Publishing House, which were being tested in Guangdong, Shandong, Hainan and Ningxia provinces. In the fall of 2004, the students who just entered high school in Shandong began to use High School Experimental Textbook of Biology under the New Course Standard published by Sino Maps Press. As the first-round present teachers teaching high school biology, who participated in the course of new-curriculum reform, the author is the direct users of high school biology textbooks (Sino Maps Press), who in the practice of teaching gained some experience. Also, a lot of questions still exist in the content and use of high school biology textbook (Sino Maps Press) among many teachers of high school.
