中北大学学位论文 Optimal Inventory Management of Low Priced and Easily Worn Articles in University Author:Yujuan Wang Supervisor:Hong Chen ABSTRACT Low Priced and Easily Worn Articles (Referring to as LPEWA) are various appliances and goods whose value is below the specified limit, and its usage period is within a year. LPEWA management in university is related to many departments, its management is not centralized and its work is difficult to be done. To manage LPEWA procurement according to plan and ensure rational usage and the safety of university assets is an important and urgent problem. This paper starts from the analysis of status quo of LPEWA management in University, and raises some management methods to help university developing smoothly both in financial management and asset management. This articlel adopts ABC analysis, economic order quantity method, material storage quotas, fuzzy clustering analysis method to offer application for decision-making in Purchase Order and Inventory Management. This paper also uses qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to make university’s decision-making in LPEWA inventory management more optimized. This article focus on the present situation that little attention being paid to the management for LPEWA, various funding sources, non-standardized Consumption, therefore this article reiterates the need to strengthen audit scientific management system of LPEWA, standardize the application procedures; improve purchasing strategy to ensure procurement quality; strengthen supervision, standardize usage; highlight on personnel training, improving management quality; introduce computer management, and adopt scientific, standardized, systematic management to ensure rational allocation and use of LPEWA.
