Effect of Modified Simiao Yong An decoction on ICAM-1 and P-selection in Serum of Diabetic Rats: An Intervention Study Abstract Objective: To analyze the commonly used herbals and prescriptions for diabetic foot in clinical, nearly 10 years literatures were retrospectively analyzed. The clinical experience was combined in this study to prescribe the Modified Si Miao Yong An decoction. To research the intervention of Modified Si Miao Yong An decoction for diabetic rats in the lower limb blood vessels, ICAM- 1 and P-selection were observed. Meanwhile, the inflammatory cell infiltration of foot tissue, arterioles and capillaries were observed under light microscope. This study provides evidence for Chinese medicine preventing and treating diabetic foot, it also provides a theoretical basis for subsequent research. Methods: The prescription was determined by literatures review analysis. For frequency analysis, the keywords--diabetic foot (tendons ulcer), Chinese medicine and treatment were applied in computer to retrieve the relative literature from the CNKI, VIP INFORMATION, Wan Fang database and Google Scholar in recent 10 years. While frequencies of the herbals and prescriptions used in different doctors were analyzed in SPSS16.0 statistical software. The clinical experience also be took into this study to prescribe the Modified Si Miao Yong An decoction.
