( No, I’m afraid not. ) 3. Can this be true? This can’t be done by him. How can this be true? 4. 常和sometimes, at times 连用。 It is hot in summer here, but sometimes it can be cool. 5. 用于句型:can not/never…too…/enough… You can’t be too careful while driving. I can’t thank you enough. 二、may/might 1. 1)----Might/ May I smoke in this room? ---- No, you mustn’t. 2)---- May/Might I take this book out of the room? ---- Yes, you can. (No, you can’t / mustn’t. ) 用May I...? He may /might be very busy now. Your mother may /might not know the truth. 注:may not 可能不 can not 不可能 3. May you succeed!=Wish you success! 4. may/might as well…./well… You may/might as well have a rest. You may/might well pass the exam. 三、will/would 1. Will / Would you pass me the ball, please? 2. I will never do that again. They asked him if he would go abroad.
