Abstract (English)
Research from the perspective of ecological system brings fresh wind to our foreign language teaching and learning. The purpose of this thesis is to present interpretation to the phenomenon of time consuming and low efficiency through implementation of system approaches.
It is considered that in current skill learning process exists the lack of some elements and inappropriate combination that can be shown from the analysis on the relationships among different skills and their proportion in the whole. And I maintain that this is the main cause for the low efficiency. As is indicated in systematical approach, lack of elements and improper combination will lead to the failure of optimality. Reflecting what we have done in the past twenty years, the achievements in specific issues of teaching and research have got pleasant results. It is true that almost all the ideas, rationales and methods in different schools have been introduced and understood in China. Yet, I intend to point out that the relations of the parts with the whole have not caused enough attention.
This thesis first states the basic principles of systematical approaches, especially the principle of optimality which I will indicate in second chapter that the optimality here is what is called degree of satisfaction, not the absolute optimizing in natural science. From the view of teaching system, it refers to the relative optimizing of a new way or model than the other one.
Then this paper presents the current situation of classroom implementation, followed by the analysis of the cause and effect. In the third chapter, theoretical bases are provided in three relevant fields from linguistics to information technology and computer implication technology, among which feasible analysis and synthesis are concluded.
At the end of this thesis, an empirical investigation is demonstrated as a proof and support to my statement. It does not mean that this is the only way to be combi
