Abstract
Railway station’s carrying capacity has two kinds,the first one is departure line capacity, the other one is throat carrying capacity.Since the complex layout of the stations’ throat,the Railway station’s carrying capacity is affected by its throat carrying capacity a lot.For large-scale railway passenger station which with the more complex layout,its throat area is more complex,so the layout of its throat area impacts the carrying capacity more.Because the large-scale railway passenger station is centralized processing passenger tranportation business,so it has high requirment for the punctuality. The most of existing studies were focus on the calculating method of the throat carrying capacity, there’s a few studies work on the concrete measures of improving the throat carrying capacity.
Firstly,in this paper,introduced the main equipment and technological process at
large-scale railway passenger station,then analysed the major factors of the throat carrying capacity of arge-scale railway passenger station,and got five major factors at last,include turnout,depature line,shunting operation,vehicle taking and delivery,the kind of operation,which is one important conclusion in this paper.
Secondly, through a lot of analysis and studies found that the research of the Railway station’s throat carrying capacity is equal to the research of the route selection and its arrangement.
Based on this conclusion, thirdly , this paper establishded the topological
structure of railway passenger station’s throat area, and combined five important factors to establish the model of route selecting and arrangement of large-scale railway passenger station throat area. This model includes three constraints and a objective.
