Myometrial invasion is one of the most important factors of the prognosis which brings benefits to determine the extent of surgery, to take adjuvant therapy into consideration and to evaluate the prognosis. Objectives To investigate the characteristics of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) in patients who have been confirmed of endometrial carcinoma by diagnostic curettage by using the second-generation contrast agent SonoVue, and to observe The enhancement pattern of the endometrial carcinoma and the endometrial/myometrial border. Moreover, to evaluate the value of detecting the depth of myometrial invasion of endometrial carcinoma by CEUS. Also, compare the result with routine ultrasound in order to value the worth of CEUS in detecting the depth of myometrial invasion of endometrial carcinoma. To provide the theoretical basis of preoperative diagnosis and staging of endometrial carcinoma. Methods A total of 21 patients diagnosed with endometrial carcinoma by diagnostic curettage in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College and Cancer Hospital of Shantou University Medical College from Nov 2011 to Mar 2013.
