以科技創新和人文關懷營造圖書館美的氛圍 以科技創新和人文關懷 營造圖書館美的氛圍 Hi-Tech, Hi-Touch :The Aesthetic Corner of Library 楊美華 Mei-Hwa Yang 國立政治大學圖書資訊與檔案學研究所教授 Professor, Graduate Institute of Library, Information and Archival Studies, National Chengchi University 【摘要】 建築之美不僅能滿足感官上的喜好 ，更可以表現建築物的精神 。圖書館建築 是一種有特定功能和需求的建物 ，而使用者對構成一座圖書館所有物質 、精神的因 素 ，都有著一種深刻創造與欣賞的美學關係 。圖書館建築的特色不僅要有意境崇高 的藝術性 ，更要滿足圖書館多元化的服務功能 。亦即在外觀和內部結構上都能予人 一種 「啟迪」 ：在造型上有時代感 ，在布局上有前瞻性 ，在設施上能現代化 ，以提 供讀者一個舒適 、便捷的學習環境和發現之旅 。在網際網路的衝擊之下 ，圖書館服 務內容 、方式不斷發生變化 ，因而實體的建築設計 ，也經歷了由簡單到多元 ，由封 閉到開放的豐富進程 。本文由新加坡烏蘭地區圖書館 、烏節青少年圖書館 、Jurong 地區圖書館的參訪經驗和臺灣公共圖書館空間及營運改善計畫談起 ，探討人性關懷 與空間意象的重要性 ，進而從圖書館設計發展的趨勢提出建議事項 。 【Abstract 】 The major role a public library plays today is a culture center as well as a learning center, other than as an information center. In this paper, the author tried to share the visiting experiences of public libraries from Singapore and the plans to improve the  楊美華 operating space and public libraries in Taiwan. The library literature showed that the perfect architecture design is the most important point in management of libraries. The clarity of directions, the comfort of bright and roomy spaces, the perfect reading environments, the excellent family reading areas for parents and kids are key concerns.
