Abstraet The major research objective of Agricultural Sci-teela Database Integration is to share the mass laetcrogeneous data in a distributed model．In a coupled grid-basea distributed syslem,it becom∞a challenging problem to query mass distributed and heterogeneous data effectively without exceeding the autonomy of data“Ⅺour∞authority．To solve this problem,this thesis puts its emphasis mainly 011 the researchoftlaedistributedqueryprocessingtechnologiesinapracticalDataGrid environment． On the analysis of existing problems of Agricultural Sei-teeh Database，the thesis begins with characteristics of the agricultural data,introduces the ClllTent data integration methods briefly,and estima圯sthechallengesofintegrationofagricultural sei-teehdatain reality． In the basic theory research，the thesis investigates the Globus Toolkit,OGSA(Open Grid Service Arehiteclalre)and other technology aspects．After analysis of the 3 generation evolution of Globus Toolkit,the thesis elaooses the 111081 suitable∞e as its computing platform．In order to build firm theoretical foundations，the introduetion$of 0GS气OGSA-DAI(Open Grid Service Architecture— Data Access Integration)and Web Services comc from digestion and extraction of the previous readings． According to the potential problems facing database integration，On file design of Agricultural Sei-tecla Database Integration。this thesis proposes a solution scheme，and desiglls the process， programming，foundations，services interaction and application arelaiteeture．To achieve the desired conclusion．these designs a把related to almo目,t every aSlpCet of database integration． The thesis takes all effort to choose a research instanc．e,in which we can make a good use of Agricultural Sci-teela Database Integration．It chooses Agricultural Products Price Database Integration as a research instance,and combines with the datab嬲of AGROVOC(FAO)with Marketing Project OV[OA)，This combination will make full Ufle of the Agricultural Product Price Data and extra
