The results showed that: there was a contrast between the farmers actual participation rate and potential demand, those who had more than 20,000 yuan income per year, finished junior middle school, owned a certain number of farmland were the potential buyer of the policy agricultural insurance, the policy insurances including rice insurance, sow insurance, rural houses insurance and forest fire insurance were closely related with farmers’ income, farmland and education level. Therefore, the policy agricultural insurance should: further perfect the procedure of the policy agricultural insurance
