PAGE PAGE VI Abstract Over the last 30 years’reforming and opening policy, our country’s social economy develops rapidly. People don’t worry about subsistence problem any more. Most people start to pursue personal value and social respect. In this process, more and more people care about health. As the social watcher, the media grasps the great change promptly. There are more and more news about health. The health news is making great progress in both quantity and quality recently. However, most health reports are only about medical treatment, and the report way isn’t creative. Current health reports can not meet people’s requirment. So, how to improve health reports is top priority now. The focal point of this paper is not to set out the concept of health news, but to reseach health reports from the idea, content and form on the basis of introducing the current situation of health reports in our county. The paper is to affirm achivement, point out the deficiency and reseach how to improve health reports in order to meet people’s requirment about health better. The paper comprises of introduction, theory and conclusion. It is all three parts. The first part is introduction. The main points are to introduce the reseach background, meaning, method, content and current situation. This part prepares for the reseach. The second part is theory. It includes four sections. Section 1 presents the basical theory of health reports. It makes the definition of health. The news about health is health news. The health news has many characteristics such as truth, novelty. The content is about five categories. Besides facticity, importance, timeliness and interesting, the news values also have serviceability, publicity and tendenty. Section 2 and 3 mainly introduce the current situation of health reports in our county. Section 2’s object is media.
