Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show? 第1课时 Section A 1a-1c 吕玲 三城初中 一、教学目标 1. 掌握重点短语和句型:What do you want to watch? What do you think of talk shows? They’re OK. I don’t mind them. I like them. I can’t stand them. 2. 培养听力能力。 3. 培养交际能力。 4、通过谈论对某事物的喜欢和不喜欢,学会做一个有个性的人,正确处理好爱好和学习之间的关系。 二 、教学内容 了解有关电视节目的知识并学习相关的单词和短语。 学习一些学习电视节目类型及表达喜好的单词、短语及句型。 三、教学重难点 1、掌握一些表达电视节目类型的词汇。 2、掌握以下重点句子:What do you want to watch? What do you think of talk shows ? They are OK .I don,t mind them . 四、教学方法 通过充分利用教学图片和多媒体,创设情景激发学生的兴趣,让学生通过小组合作的形式相互交流,引导他们主动学习。 五、教法准备 幻灯片、图片、多媒体。 六、教学过程 Step 1 Lead in Show a picture on the screen .Ask: What are the two boys doing ? Do you like watching TV ? What kind of TV show do you like ?Why do you like them ?.(通过问答的形式询问学生喜欢的电视节目,为导入新课做准备) Step 2 Presentation .Show the students some pictures with different TV shows names for them to learn and read. And then get them to read them one by one. Then look at the pictures of TV shows and say.(利用多媒体图片呈现本科时的词汇,形象、直观,便于学生掌握) Step 3 Practice 1a Ask one student to read and translate the TV shows and then ask the class to match them with the pictures. Finally ask some students to report their answers. Step 4 Presentation Show some picture and say :T: Look at these pictures .what do you want to watch 。what do you think of sitcoms ? Help students answer : I want to watch …,I love them./ I like them./ I don,t like them./ I don,t mind them./I can,t stand them Then introduce more words: love, like, don’t mind, don’t like, can’t stand …and make the students know their meanings..(利用图片,师生对话,引出新句型; what do you think of …? 及其回答) Step 5 Practice Ask two students to read the conversation in 1c and get the students to practice in pairs. Then ask them to make their own conversations. Finally ask as many pairs as possible to act it out.(让学生完成以上对话练习,掌握各种喜好句型。) Step 6 Listening(1b) Play the tape for the students to listen and number the shows in the order then hear them. Play twice or more. Then ask some st
