T: What can you hear?
T writes four topics on the Bb: A.学校 B. 水果C.颜色 D.食物
T: Today we’ll talk about fruit (CAI shows all kinds of fruit)
Teach Ss to say fruit.
Step3 Presentation
T: Sarah invites Wu Yifan to her home. Sarah’s mother prepares some fruit. What fruit does she prepare?
Guessing game and teach “apple, apples”
T: It’s red. Sometimes it’s green. It’s round. If we eat it every day, we can keep the doctor away.
CAI shows several apples, Ss learn to say “ apples”.
T: I like apples. They are yummy. Do you like apples? (to several individuals)
Write “ bear” on the Bb. Present “pear, pears”.(CAI) T:(To several individuals) Do you like pears?
1)T: What fruit do I like? Guess!
2)Guide Ss to ask using “ Do you like ...?”
3)T makes a riddle : It’s yellow. It’s long. It looks like a boat. Present the new word “banana, bananas”.
4)Get St to touch the fruit in the fruit bag and guess what fruit is it. Present “ orange, oranges”.
5.T: What fruit does Sarah’s mother prepare for Wu Yifan?
Ss read the new words after the teacher, then group work.
