As one of the largest FDI inflow provinces in China, Jiangsu is putting more emphasis on the development of service industry these years. Under this condition, how to make full use of FDI will be an essential issue in promoting the development of Jiangsu service industry, and even the whole regional economy. In the view of technology spillover effects, this article uses time series and panel data to inspect the existence of technology spillovers from service FDI in Jiangsu. And based on the results of the inspection, it concludes and examines the factors that influence the spillover effects. The conclusions are: (1) In the service industry, both intra-industry and inter-industry spillover effects are insignificant; (2) The spillover effects of Jiangsu service FDI are ob
