Unit 6 I’m going to study computer science.
Section A (1a-2c)

I. 教材分析:
本单元的话题是future intentions. Section A (1a-2c)集中呈现了有关工作的名词,以及如何实现future intentions的动词短语。
本部分的核心句型是询问未来职业的What do you want to be when you grow up?和如何实现梦想的How are you going to do that?
II. 学情分析:
初中生对本课话题jobs较为熟悉,也非常感兴趣,所以能带着兴趣去学习。但是运用How are you going to do that?句式对如何实现职业目标进行问答时,不能自如的使用动词短语,此处难度较大。教师需要在教学中注意对学生的引导和训练。
III. 教学目标:
1. 知识与能力目标
①理解和掌握cook, pilot, engineer, computer programmer, pianist, violinist, scientist, 7个表示职业的名词,能正确使用be going to 结构表示将来,复习已学过的表示职业的名词。
②能简单谈论对未来的打算。
A: What do you want to be when you grow up?
B: I want to be an engineer.
A: How are you going to do that?
B: I’m going to study computer science.
2. 情感态度与价值观目标:
树立健康积极的生活目标,并引导学生坚持为目标而努力。
IV. 教学重难点:
学习职业的词汇,并运用What do you want to be when you grow up?询问未来职业和How are you going to do that?来询问如何实现梦想的两个句式进行问答。本部分的难点是动词短语的灵活使用和新教授的职业名称的掌握运用。

I. Warming-up
1. Before the class, play a song about jobs.
2. Introduce the new teacher to the students and talk about the topic that will be learned today.
1. Listen and watch carefully and try to remember the jobs they see
2.Talk with the teacher about the jobs.

To activate the students’ language and build up good relationship between the teacher and the students.
II. Presentation
Show students some pictures which have the features of the different jobs. Lead in the new words
Look at the pictures. Learn and read the new words.
To present the new words.
To master the pronunciation of the new words.
III. Pre-listening (1b)
Ask students to do a chain drill: “--What do you want to be when you grow up? –I want to be a/ an …”
Do the chain drill. Ask and answer with the target language.
To use the new words in the sentence structure.
To be prepared for the following listening practice.
