2. Aims of ability.
1.). To be able to express their own problems.
2). To be able to express how to give advice to others using the target language.
3. Aims of emotion.
To develop the students to learn to communicate with others.
II Teaching key and difficult points.
To improve the interest and skills of listening.
To learn how to communicate with others.
III Teaching aids. A multimedia, a tape recorder.
IV. Teaching procedures.
Step 1. Greetings.
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2. Lead in.
Ask the students to look at the pictures on the screen and talk about them.
T: We know everyone has some problems in life. So do I. These days I’m not happy. Do you know what’s wrong with me? I had a fight with my daughter. And I’m becoming fat, though I exercise every day.
T: Most teenagers have some problems. What problems do they have? Let’s look at the screen. (Present new phrases). Read them aloud.
T: I want to know what your problems are. Can you tell me? (Ask some students to say out their problems.)
T: Oh, you have so many problems, which do you think are serious or not serious? (Ask some students to give their opinions.)
Step 3. Practice.
Part1a, ask one or two students to give their opinions, Tell them they can have different opinions.
Step 4. Listening practices.
Part 1b. Play the tape for the students to listen and finish the task. Check the answers.
