Abstract Since its inception, Tang Xianzus Linchuan four dreams in literature and drama has attracted much attention, in twenty-first Century, Tang Xianzus research, is still a hot topic in the study of ancient literature. In recent years many new academic opinions, combining with the background of the current research literature in the world to cultural studies the transfer of Tang Xianzu, from the view of four dreams of Linchuan Zhiqing theory drama thought angle research, attempts to make an in-depth analysis and interpretation of the idea of drama on the show character of Linchuan four dreams, so as to seek the deep cultural connotation of traditional opera. This paper is mainly based on Tang Xianzus representative drama as the research content, focusing on the Linchuan four dreams in the feelings of the drama interpretation research. This paper will be launched by the following several parts: the analysis of Tang Xianzus drama creation background; emotion theory in Tang Xianzus plays in the drama and the influence of Tang Xianzus drama thought; thoughts on the future generations. Aimed at the main Tang Xianzu drama characters, story of comparative research, analysis of the formation and development of Tang Xianzu thought of drama growth and creation course, from the experience of writers with strong resistance to the feudal ethics bound fashion consciousness.
