STUDY STUDY ON FOREST FIRE AUTO．INSPECTING SYSTEM BASE ON WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK ABSTRACT As the forest playing more and more important role in environment protecting， the forest environment is researched intensively．These studies are focus on not only its influence on the atmospheric circulation,but also on how to protect the forest resources； thereby the forest plays its good effect on human living environment．Forest-fire is the key factor to forest devastation and environment deterioration．The forest-fire has its own characteristic，so it is difficult to monitoring．The traditional monitoring is carried out with the help of satellite or airplane to take aerial photographs．Although it Can effectively monitor the forest—fire，the expenditure is very high and the accuracy of time and position is very low．In recent years，forest-fire auto-monitoring is improved with the high-tech development．Wireless sensor network technology has its particular characteristic，which makes the forest-fire aute-monitoring become economic and convenient．This paper is studying how to inspect forest fire from ground and to transmit fire signal to the observer through wireless sensor network． After analyzing the characteristic of forest fire．the paper puts forward an idea of monitoring the forest-fire on the ground．This paper consists of two major parts．The first part studies the signal monitoring of forest-fire．111c forest-fire is monitored by infrared image seusor．Using the digital image processing technology,the color of image is convened environment temperature．Then it cart be decided whether the forest-fire is broken out or not．The second part studies the transmitting of forest-fi坞signal．Thc system adopts wireless sensor network technology transmitting the signal to observer．The router and protocol about wireless sensor network ale introduced in this paper and was achieved through chip Nrf905 ofNordic Company． This paper puts forward a method of monitoring the forest—fire on the ground．
