The landslide has a great harm to human society and threatening peoples lives and property safety, so landslide rainfall forecasting has been one of the hot topics in landslide studies, and meanwhile in order to effectively minimize the casualties and property loss caused by the unexpected landslide hazard, the study of landslide risk assessment also has very important practical significance. On the basis of the geological hazards-prone areas, this paper uses the historic landslide data of Nanjing, meteorological data (rainfall) and the model of geological hazard forecast to establish the method of landslide hazards weather forecast and determine the landslide hazards weather forecast in Nanjing; then calculates the landslide risk and vulnerability, builds the model of landslide hazard risk assessment to determine the technical process of Nanjing landslide risk assessment. Then an information sharing platform is developed, this platform is based on the technical process of landslide hazards forecast and landslide risk assessment, it uses C# as the development language and it applies the following techniques: the database technology, the ArcGIS Server technology, the.NET technology, the remote call technology, the partial refresh technology of AJAX and the spatial interpolation technology.
