Warm -up 1、Greetings T:Hello! Girls and boys. I am Miss Sheng. What’s this? (Show a box) It’s a magical box. What’s in it ? Let’s have a look. 2、 Play the magic to warm up. Step = 2 \* ROMAN II、Lead in Continue talking about the magic. T: What’s this ? Ss: It’s a small box. (Lead out) You are great. Let’s look at the picture and find out what’s this. Look at the cracked pictures on the screen. Play a guessing game. T: What’s this ? Ss:It’s a duck. Step = 3 \* ROMAN III、Presentation Learn the new word “duck”. Stick the word card on the blackboard. Use the same way to teach “dog, bear”. Practice the words in the sentence “It’s a dog / bear.” Listen to the sound of the animals .Guess “ What’s this?” Learn the other two words. Put the words cards on the blackboard. Show the pictures . Review the words. Try to review the words by showing the pictures of the hand shadow on the screen. Come to the book. Watch the video about Let’s learn on the books. Read the words after it. Step = 4 \* ROMAN IV、Practice Play a game . “Beat the mice” Invite a student to the front. Teacher says out the word. The student try to beat the correct word card and try to say“It’s a dog/ cat/…”. When he/she finishes, he/she will be the order giver in the next game. Continue the game with some groups. Continue playing another game. “Find them in the picture.” Let’s chant . Show the pictures. Go through the new words in this parts. Compare the words together. Lead out the new words in Let’s chant. e.g: cat-fat pig-big dog-log duck-trunk bear-
