AbstractResearch Abstract Research on the nature of science started earlier in Western countries than m China· Nature of science has been paid close attention since the beginning of last century m westem countries,but educators in China are sparing no effort to open various ways to enhance students’understanding of the nature of science.New science curriculum innovation m our country attach especial importance to present the content of history of sclellce ul science textbooks,this research intents to analyze the history of chemistry in three current versions of chemical materials in China in the visual threshold of nature of science,and the purpose of this research is to reveal how the history of thenlistry reflects the nature of science· There are five chapters in this research: The first chapter illustrates the background of the research,simultaneously defines the concepts which COllCern this paper,then makes the theoretical value and practical significance of the research clear. The second chapter specifically explicits the object of study and the research method, designs the research process.In this paper,content analysis method is selected as the main method. The third chapter states the analysis steps,and makes a detailed description of each step of the analysis. The fourth chapter is the main body which shows the results of this analysis with the form of charts.The analysis carried out on two aspects.On one hand,the research applies two anaI vsis pattern:the specific analysis and the overall analysis;Oil the other hand,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis ale used at the same time.After the analysis,comparative Analvsis is used in the research to make a further analysis of the history of chemistry which reflect the nature of science in chemistry textbooks. The fiml chapter makes a summary according to the research.and seeks for the bene6cial suggestions to textbook writers、senior middle school chemistry teachers and high school students. Key words:
