Keywords: modernization financial lanzhou IV 1 1 绪论 一、选题缘由 建国以来，在我国的经济史研究里，关于金融史方面的研究是学术界研究的 一个薄弱环节，而其中对西北等地特别是兰州近代金融史的研究在经济史学界研 究的学者更少。同时，由于西北近代经济方面的传世文献数量及相关记载比较缺 乏，使得这一研究的领域更显薄弱。但是，作为中国近代经济史的一个重要组成 部分，对兰州乃至整个西北地区的近代金融发展历史进行梳理和回顾是十分必要 的。在学习过程中，笔者对兰州地区近代金融的兴起发展，特别是在近代的历史 轨迹产生了浓厚兴趣，把比较多的时间放在对这一问题的学习和探索上，并从中 发现一些值得深入思考和探究的问题。 清末以来，兰州金融业在西北地区的经济活动中发挥着十分重要的作用，并 对地方的经济发展产生了极为重要的影响。特别是抗战时期，由于大后方经济建 设的需要，这一地区金融体系的构建成为政界、学界关注的热点，并由此引发了 一场有关这一地区金融研究的热潮，学者们相继发表了一批相关的论
