II II Abstract After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Kazakhstan’s international strategic position is becoming prominent gradually, including its important strategic value in geopolitics, and its rich resources value as well. Developing relations between the United States and Kazakhstan is not merely the wishful thinking of any of the parties, but having their mutual need of political, economical, secure interests. Therefore the development of their relations is the result of both sides’ interests promotion. It is the mutual need of both sides’ interests that bring about the continuous and steady development of their relations in politics, economics and military security. As for the relations in politics, from establishing diplomatic relations to democratic partnership and strategic partnership, which is getting better by degrees. While the relations in economics, the trade scale of both countries are extending gradually, as well as the inseparately close cooperation in the field of energy. For relations in military security, the United States not only establish a variety of relations with Kazakhstan, but also enhance the relations in military security with Kazakhstan by relying on NATO. the United State government has laid a firm stone for the relations by working out a series real work between two countries and this bilateral relations will be sustaining and stable long-term development. However, the process of the development of bilateral relations is not always smooth. It will be impacted by some external factors, such as geopolitics, big powers, the Islamic forces, as well as the internal factors of themselves separately. For China, the sustainable development of the relations between the United States and Kazakhstan is bound to bring uncertainties to the border security environment of China, cause double influences on the development of relations between China and Kazakhstan, and threaten China’s energy security.
