The study of this subject is the development of new automation carpet packaging equipment,can improve the production efficiency,reduce the labor cost,better meet the growing market demand.Therefore,there is important significance to study the related topics. This paper summarizes the history and Present status of Packaging machinery,and the characteristics of Programmable control technology and the Possibility and prospect of applying it in packaging machinery.by analyzing the process features,presents the main control system design,including hard ware design and soft ware design.Based on the principle of Mitsubishi Q series PLC,select various components of the control system.According to the function and the control logic relation between of all the components ,i am designing the electrical system ；
