圭查奎望查兰堡主星堡壅三堡塑堂ABSTRACT 圭查奎望查兰堡主星堡壅三堡塑堂 ABSTRACT In the past decade，users of Intemet and mobile communication systems have been explosively increasing．It has revolutionary changed the way of mass communicalCions as well the style of some our daily 1ife．The prevalence of Intemet services and the convenience of the mobile phone arose increasing demand of wireless data transmission，web browsing in mobile and other high—speed service，including some video services．The great success ofthe 2“o generation mobile communication systems has accelerated the proposal of standards of the next generation system(3G)． According to the original developing schedule of ITU．the first service of 3G should have come into being at the turn of the centuries(about 2000)by providing data services high as 2000bps using the 2000 MHz wireless band，so the new system has general name called IMT．2000．IMT一2000 has three main technical specifications： WCDMA．cdma2000 and our Chinese proposed TD—SCDMA． To track the state．of-art and promoting the iunovation of our own mobile communication technologies．several years ago．Hi—tech ResearchDevelopment Program of China(863 Program)carried out project of Chinese 3G(C3G)Research Development to make trial systems of WCDMA．cdma2000 and TD．SCDMA witll lockstep of international actions．The author got the opportunity joining this project in all two phases to do some research and develop channel decoding modules for the WCDMA trial systems． In the Chapter 2 and 3 of血is report，the detailed description of design and implementation of“channel decoding and de—multiplexing”for WCDMA trial systems are presented．Firstly,it makes an introduction to some aspects related to this module，such as the architecture of the air interface，the structure transport cb．armels and the procedure of“channel codingmultiplexing”．etc．Then it followed by general design of channel decoding unit(CDU)and its sub—unit algorithms and its methods of FPGA，DSP implementations．There are also some intr
