144 144， Haa--1 .1‘ . 1 - 、1Itil 、1 Itil l 1 II I II III Iil l l III、 ＼1 9441 68 摘 要 史学界大都认识到了佛教在六朝时期的重要地位，然而对江西佛教在六朝 时期的地位认识不够深刻和全面。中国古代六朝时期，是战争不息的时代，全 国民众苦不堪言，然而此时的江西却得来了相对稳定的社会环境，佛教就在这 样的社会环境中进入江西并发展壮大。本文在探讨江西佛教在六朝时期的发展 状况基础上试证六朝的江西佛教在全国的地位以及对地方社会带来诸多不容忽 视的影响。 江西地处长江中游及荆州、扬州之间，给佛教的传播与发展带来了相当有 利的条件，江西境外的高僧大德、胡僧纷纷进入，历代出任江州的长官都重视 佛教的传播，民众信仰者增多。由此佛教在江西日渐兴盛起来，最典型的事实 就是造就了庐山这个南方佛教中心。六朝江西佛教的发展与兴盛，对江西地方 卜 社会及其文化生态产生了较为深刻的影响。 本文第一部分论述的是六朝江西佛教的发展状况。第二部分是从自然地理 和社会环境因素、江西的人文因素、统治者的推动和保护因素、民众的信仰基 础等四方面来探讨六朝佛教在江西发展的原因。第三部分探讨的是繁盛的六朝 江西佛教给江西带来的相关影响。 本文以辩证唯物主义、社会学、文化人类学、民俗学等相关学科的理论为 指导，主要用历史考证和统计学的方法来对六朝时期江西的佛教发展及相关问 题进行论述。 关键词：六朝江西；江西佛教；环境人文因素；经济文化影响；文化生态 和 句 AbstractAlthough Abstract Although historians recognized that Buddhism plays the important role in the Six Dynasties(Wu，Dong Jin、Song，Qi，Liang，Chen)。they lacked a deep understanding and comprehension on the position in Jiangxi’S Buddhism of the Six Dynasties．The Six Dynasties when ancient China filled of endless war and miserable people，but it brought a relatively stable environment which Buddhism could come to and develop in Jiang Xi．This article based on Jiangxi Buddhism’S situation of the Six Dynasties，then researched into Jiangxi Buddhism of the Six Dynasties’S status in the whole country and much influence which couldn’t be overlooked on local conlmunity． f Jiang Xi Was located between Yangtze River,Jing Zhou and Yang Zhou，and it brought the convenience of Buddhism into Jiang Xi．The hierarch and other countries’monk beside Jiang Xi gradually calile into Jiang Xi．The dominators through the ages thought much of Jiang Xi’S strategic status．The religion believers became more and more． With these reasons，Buddhism began to expand and flourished in Jiang Xi，the most typical example was to create a southern Buddhism CentremLushan Mountain． The first part of this paper discussed the development of Jiangxi Buddhism of Six Dynasties．The second part discussed the reasons for the development of Jiangxi Buddhism，which included
