Study Study on the Land Suitability Evaluation for Mining Reclamation in Shahe City Name：Huang Xuegang Supervisor：Professor Chen Yaheng Major：Agricultural Engineering Abstract 111e work of land reclamation in China began in the late 1 950s，mainly solving the contradiction between food and construction．However，until now the development of land reclamation in China is slow,less quantity and low level．In a word，the task is very formidable．The special planning of industrial and mining wasteland reclamation is one of the land—USe general plan．Compiling this special planning Can promote coordination arrangements and scientific guidance for land reclamation．It’S conducive to integrate resources，improve the quMity and quantity of cultivated land，build high standard farmland，invigorated construction land，help to improve the quality of the ecological environment，improve the living environment of rural areas，protect the land resources and realize the sustainable use of land resources in China． 砸s article chooses Shahe eity of Xingtai eity as the study area．Firstly,it determines the breaking types of reclamation area and pending reclamation area through preliminary data and present investigation．Secondly，it conducts land suitability evaluation in reclamation regions and decides the reclamation direction using the Index Method and Limit Condition Method．Then it determines the potential of the reclamation region according the farmland’S standard coefficient．In the last，it determines the reclamation region and constructing region using the method of System Cluster and related planning．Through the studies above we can draw these conclusions as follows： (1)In this paper,we use the index method and the limit condition method， selecting the texture，the soil thickness，the barrier layer type，the terrain position and the water source guarantee rate five factors to CalTy on the suitability evaluation to the mining and mining waste land．Shahe City contains 11 townships mining wasteland
