华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II II Abstract Train Communication Network (TCN) has a two-level buses topology: wire train bus (WTB) which can connect various vehicles and multiple vehicle bus (MVB) which connect device fixed. These are two independent bus network which use different communication protocols. It can implement a whole train information transaction and provide an information passage for train controlling. TCN gateway as a node, connect MVB and WTB, implement conversion of protocols and transfer inter data by software running in the gateway. Firstly, the thesis introduces the overall design and gives a brief introduction to each module. The focus of the gateway is the real-time protocol. According to the function, we divide the RTP into two parts: process data module and message data module. Process data module transfers periodic real-time data and message data module transfers non-periodic data. Secondly, the thesis analyzes the real-time of the process data communication and message data communication. Train communication network is a typical real-time control network, it directly affects the communication performance of the entire train. For the sporadic data (process data) and non-episodic data (message data), the selection of the communication operation mode and the response time affects the real-time performance. Finally, For process data communication and massage data communication, this thesis give the test procedure. Until now, the development of the Train Communication Network Gateway has been completed. We has completed functional test of the CPU module, MVB module and WTB module. The gateway completed the protocol conversion, to achieve a full exchange of information on the train.
