万方数据 万方数据 Study on the Coupling Effect between the Level of the Tourism Industrial Structure and the Level of Urban Development of Shandong Province Abstract Since the reform and opening up, with the rapid development of the tourism industry, its industry is in a rising status. However, while the tourism industry is in the rapid development and expansion, the tourism industrial structure industry and optimization has been a hotspot commonly concern to academia. As an important tourism destination vector, the city plays a key role on raising the level of the tourism industrial industry; in turn, the raising level of the tourism industrial structure can finally prompt the city to improve the level of urban development. Based on the related theories and methods of tourism science, city science economic science, management science and other related disciplines, the thesis takes 17cities of Shandong province as the research object, trys to construct the composite index system of the level of the tourism industrial structure and the level of Urban development, to further analysis the coupling development mechanism and the main factors of the coupling effects between them, and put forward the corresponding suggestions and proposals. The main researches are as follows: With the expansion of the tourism industry scale in Shandong province, the structural problems of the tourism industry which includes strong resource-dependent, irrational inputs of all various departments, low income of high elasticity demand sector, low efficiency of the structure highlighted; to some extent, the level of urbanization characterized the urban development, however, irrational industrial structure, deformities of social development, poor quality of ecological environment hindered the further development of the city.
