II II Abstract Attribution principle of products liability is not only the core of the legal system of product liability, but also the key to develop the product liability law. It experienced from contract liability to tort liability nature, from fault liability to strict liability evolution. This tendency is influenced by certain social economic and technological development status. Legal system of product liability in China started late. The development of the attribution principle of products liability is not perfect, and the legislative mode and content regulation has its obvious shortcomings in the law, often to appear the contradiction and the conflict. The academic circles is controversial on the legislation of our country, therefore, the legal system of product liability and the attribution principle of products liability in China need to be improved. In structural arrangements, this article altogether divides into four chapters, about thirty thousand words. The first chapter: the theory of the principle of product liability. Firstly it mainly defines the concept of product liability and the meaning of the attribution principle, and on the basis，the main types of the principle of product liability is discussed, which included fault liability，strict liability and absolute liability attributable to principle in the nature of tort liability. The second chapter: the application and development trend of product liability principle in the main countries of the world. It mainly introduces the course of development and application status of attribution principle of products liability in the common law system and continental law system countries, and summarizes the major trends of the world Product Liability, as a foreshadowing of the following study of product liability principle in China.
