With the development of economy and society, it also is endowed with distinct characteristics of the times. Study the scientific concept of happiness has the important theory significance and the practical significance. This study is to further deepen the concept of happiness theory and peoples understanding of the scientific concept of happiness, make people more firmly implement the scientific concept of happiness beliefs, to increase peoples happiness index. This paper consists of four parts: the first part is on the meaning, content and characteristics of the scientific concept of happiness. The scientific concept of happiness is based on Marxs view of happiness as the foundation, with the guidance of Scientific Outlook on Development, humanism as the value principle, in order to satisfy mans needs as the basic starting point, to the comprehensive development of human freedom as the goal, basic views and opinions for the happiness of the people. The scientific concepts of happiness is the content of the material and spiritual unity of lofty ideal and reality, unity of individual and social movement, the organic combination of labor and enjoy, the organic unification. The scientific concepts of happiness features include social and individual unity, relative and absolute unity, unity and diversity, the organic combination of subjectivity and objectivity. The second part discusses the scientific concept of happiness in the personal development and social development value. The scientific concept of happiness in the personal development of value: the scientific concept of happiness is helpful to guide people to form a correct outlook on life, values, contribute to the realization of personal value, and contribute to the all-round development of people.
