II II Abstract Journalism Education is a systematic subject that needs sustainable development and innovation. Under the background of journalism reform and transformation all around the world as well as the multiple media forms and modern information disseminating technologies, all this needs a better development of journalism education in China. This paper studies on the current background of facing problems in Chinas journalism education, also puts forward some constructive suggestions and promoting sustainable development conception. This paper mainly discusses three aspects: The first part states the current achievements of Journalism Education in China. Chinese journalism education has made a lot of achievements, especially after the reform and opening up, Chinas journalism industry made rapid development which led to development of journalism education, mainly discusses from the scale of running a school, faculty, academic achievement, integrating with other disciplines and the application of new and high technology and other aspects of current journalism education made brilliant achievements; The second part focuses on the current background of facing problems and challenges behind in Chinas journalism education. Discuss from six aspects, including: The teaching system in Journalism system is not appropriate; Journalism teaching content and practice have no accordance and have unreasonable curriculum; construction of old faculty; defects on students occupation morality; university talents training objectives is not clear as well as the talent supply and demand imbalance; the unitary teaching form and the introduction of new technology fall into confusion. The third part takes the focus on putting forward some constructive suggestions and promoting sustainable development conception of Chinas journalism education, including following the laws of journalism communication and journalism education, imbibing former and abroad outstanding journalism education thou
