This paper used index datas of 2007, 2010 and 2014 as the data source to evaluate and analyzed the coordinated development of land economy and land use in Three Gorges Reservoir Area through the coordinated development degree model. The results showed that the coordinated development of land economy and land use in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area from 2007 to 2014 was maintained a relatively stable development trend and was in a state of poor coordination. About 60% of areas coordinated development coefficients were under 0. 2. The Jiangjin District and other five regions coefficients were in the range of 0. 2—0. 3. Chongqing, the city region had the highest coefficient, was maintained at the level of 0. 7 or more. The results would provide more reliable data and more effective recommendations for the sustainable development in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area. Keyword： land use;
