The car was bought yesterday. (2)invent做动词,意为“发明,创造”,指发明以前没有的新东西。当物做主语时,常用被动语态。invention名词,意为“发明物”;inventor名词,意为“发明家,发明者”。 如:Edison, a great inventor, invented many great inventions during his life.
