如何在英语课堂渗透诚信教育
摘要：当今社会，诚信危机已经十分严重，欺诈泛滥成灾，毫不夸张地说，它已经成为阻碍经济进一步发展的一种阻力。那么，如何解决这个问题呢？这是一个社会问题，也是一个教育问题，作为教育工作者，我们应该担负起诚信教育的重担。我作为一名英语教师，也有义不容辞的责任，在英语课堂上，渗透诚信教育，是我努力探讨的课题。

一、阐述诚信观，让学生理解诚信的内涵和外延
Honestyisgold.
Honestymeansspeakingthetruthandbeingfairanduprightinact.Ifyouliesandcheatsothers，youaredishonest.
Honestyisagoodvirtue.Ifyouarehonestallthetime，you’llbetrustedandrespectedbyothers.Aliarisalwayslookeddownuponandregardedasablacksheepbythepeoplearound.Onceyoulie，peoplewillneverbelieveyouevenifyouspeakthetruth.
However，inthetideofcommodityeconomytoday，itseemsthatmoreandmorepeoplebelieveinmoneyatthesacrificeofhonesty.Tothem，amongsuchthinashealth，beauty，money，intelligence，honesty，reputationandtalent，honestyistheonlythingthatcanbeeastaway.Theydon’tunderstandorpretendnottounderstandthathonestyisthebiggestfortunehumansown，andthatitistheprerequisite（前提）fordoingeverythingwell.Ithinkthesepeoplearetobepitied.
Inshort，honestyisgold.Honest，yourreputationwillbecomegreat，dishonest，yournamewillbespoiledandyourpersonalitydegraded.Therefore，weshouldnevermakesuchanexcuseas“Alittledishonestyisonlyatriflething.”Weshoulderadicateimmediatelytheseedofdishonestyonceitissowedinourminds.
Integrity（正直，诚实）isalsoakindofhonesty.
Whatisintegrity？Integrityisagoodqualityofbeinghonest.
Itisafinevirtueforeveryone.Amanofintegrityislovedbyall.Withoutintegrity，hewilllosethebestfriend.
Integrityisespeciallyimportantforstudents.Weshouldfinishourhomeworkindependently.Wemustreturnbookswhenitisdue.Weshouldlistentotheteachercarefullynomatterwhatkindoflessonitis.Ifwepromisetodosomething，weshouldtryourbesttodoitwell.
Honestyislong-lastingvirtueofpeopleallovertheworld.Likewise，itisalsooneofthedeeply-heldvaluesoftheChinesepeople.Somepeoplebelievethatinthemarketeconomy，honestytendstobeobsolete.Inmyopinion，honestywillneverbeoutofdate.Nomatterwhatthesituationmightbe.
