Our Patient
A 34 year old female pedestrian presents to the ED after being
hit by moving vehicle on her left side at a speed of 30mph while
crossing street, and landed on the hood of car.
She had no loss of consciousness.
She was brought to ED by ambulance.
Patient was hemodynamically stable with good ventilation. Vital
signs were within normal limits and she was AOx3.
Physical exam was normal except for left sided chest wall pain
and a left elbow laceration.
Her lab work was unremarkable.
